Valency Fine Art was founded in 2007 by  Simon McNair Scott. Two inaugaral exhibitions were held in the summer of that year featuring the seascape paintings of Cornish artist Saul Cathcart.
 
Over 20 successful exhibitions have been staged since then and the gallery has attracted a loyal following of local, national and international collectors.
